M family received a free dinner at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant and a free night's stay at the Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth, MI in exchange for this blog review. Any opinions expressed here are honest and my own.
Before I go into details about our experience, let me just say the staff at both Bavarian Inn Lodge and Restaurant were amazing. They never skipped a beat with service. So good!

When we arrived at check-in, a gentleman by the name of Keith, helped us get set up for our stay. He was fantastic! Very helpful and all with a warm and friendly smile. I wish I would have thought to ask him for a quick pic! We received a nice surprise for this review. They provided us with The Bickel Suite. So cozy and charming.

The Bickel Suite has 2 queen beds and a pull-out sofa bed. Perfect for me and my 3 girls. The room also has a mini-fridge, a nice sink, and separate bathroom, two office sitting areas, and a nice leather chair. The window is a view of the courtyard and one of the pools. The flat-screen TV was perfect for unwinding and watching Hallmark Christmas movies. ;)

After we settled in, we went down and played a round of miniature golf. Thanks to Bavarian Inn for the FREE passes!!! Here’s our ranking:

Obviously, so much fun no matter what! Such an adorable miniature golf area. Loved it and so colorful and festive! Highly recommended for your family-fun experience.
After miniature golf, we headed to our dining reservation at Bavarian Inn Restaurant.

We selected the Family-Style Frankenmuth Chicken dinner. Fantastic!!
The sides such as cranberries, coleslaw, butter noodles (YUM), chicken noodle soup, were great. Our favorites were the mashed potatoes, stuffing, squash, and of course the chicken!

The house bread was pretty good as well. You might have to acquire a taste for the fruit cake style bread, but with butter, it wasn't half bad!! The powdered sugar on the crust was a nice flavorful touch.

Their chicken is "natural, lightly-breaded, and flavored with their very own brand of seasoning and quickly fried for full flavor!" We didn’t want to stop eating but of course, our bellies weren’t having it.
But, we did enjoy a small creamsicle ice cream dessert. So refreshing. We had so much chicken leftover we couldn’t let it go to waste. Took it to our room and snacked on it that night! Cold chicken anyone? Soooo good! Thanks to our server, Adam, for amazing service as well. We didn’t want dinner to come to an end. ?
*There are microwaves within the hotel if you need to heat up anything!

After our stellar chicken dinner, we enjoyed a stroll down Main Street which in Frankenmuth during Christmas week, you can’t go wrong. An absolute fairytale. We felt like we were in a Hallmark Christmas movie! The music, the lights, the shops... Perfect! I haven’t been here for years. It was definitely time to go back.

After taking in the nighttime sights, we enjoyed the Family Fun Center. It’s indeed, so much fun. So many arcade games, pool, ping pong, air hockey, and more! They also have multiple pools. Some for adults only. There were also two water slides. The girls had a blast!

They also have a great gift shop (Michael's Gift Shop), near the miniature golf area, where you can purchase items you may have forgotten such as a swimsuit, flip flops, and more!

After a fun night, we headed back to our suite to relax and watch TV. We then slept the night away. The beds and pillows were very comfy.
Checkout wasn’t until 11:00 am so we grabbed some breakfast at Oma’s restaurant inside the lodge. It was fantastic! Great breakfast buffet! While this wasn't a part of our free dining experience, it's still highly recommended for the whole family.
Before heading home, we shopped the Castle Shops inside the Bavarian Inn Restaurant.

We also visited the River Place Shops and visited SugarHigh Bakery. They won Cup Cake Wars in 2012, season 7 (Ninja Turtles), and were 1st runner up in Cake Wars, season 5 (Power Puff Girls). Had to buy some Macarons for the road. Delicious!!

Before we made our way home, we grabbed some coffee from Harvest Coffee House. I had Toasted Pumpkin Marshmallow Latte, two of my girls had "Peppermint Paddy", and my youngest had hot cocoa. Amazing! Definitely stop here when you come and visit Frankenmuth.
